These Terms of Service govern your use of the Western Medical Training Center website, student portal, and related services. Please read them carefully before enrolling or using our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the WMTC website at wmtc.info, submitting an inquiry or enrollment application, logging into the student portal, or participating in any WMTC program, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, prospective students, enrolled students, and any other users of our Services. Enrolled students are also bound by the Enrollment Agreement signed at the time of enrollment, which governs tuition, refunds, attendance, and academic policies.

2. About WMTC

Western Medical Training Center (WMTC) is a California-licensed private postsecondary school approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). We offer healthcare certification programs including Clinical Medical Assistant, EKG Technician, Pharmacy Technician, CPR, Restorative Nursing Assistant, Pharmacology, and related courses.

WMTC is operated by Equip Human Solutions. Our principal place of business is 1814 Fifth Avenue, Suite #101 & #102, San Diego, CA 92101.

3. Eligibility

To use our Services and enroll in WMTC programs, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, or have written parental or guardian consent if under 18.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information during enrollment and in all communications with WMTC.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Meet any program-specific prerequisites as described in the program catalog.

4. Student Portal Access

Enrolled students are granted access to the WMTC student portal at wmtc.info/portal. Portal access is personal and non-transferable.

  • Credentials: You log in using your enrollment email address and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number. Keep your credentials confidential. Do not share portal access with others.
  • Security: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your portal session. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Session timeout: Portal sessions automatically expire after 30 minutes of inactivity to protect your information on shared devices.
  • Termination: WMTC may suspend or terminate portal access if you withdraw from your program, violate these Terms, or for any other reason at our discretion with reasonable notice.

5. Enrollment, Tuition & Payments

Enrollment is complete only when WMTC has received your signed Enrollment Agreement and required deposit or full tuition payment. Tuition amounts, payment plans, and accepted payment methods are described in the Enrollment Agreement and program catalog.

  • Payment processing: Online payments are processed securely through Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize WMTC to charge the amount specified.
  • Refunds: Refund eligibility is governed exclusively by the Refund & Cancellation Policy in your Enrollment Agreement. Refunds are not available through these Terms of Service.
  • Funding: If your tuition is funded by a third party (SDHC, MyCAA, employer sponsor), you remain personally responsible for any balance not covered by the funding source.

6. Attendance & Academic Conduct

Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and maintain the academic and conduct standards described in the Enrollment Agreement. WMTC reserves the right to dismiss students who fail to meet these standards. Dismissal for cause does not entitle the student to a tuition refund beyond what is specified in the Refund Policy.

7. Photo, Video & Likeness Release

By enrolling at WMTC, you consent to WMTC photographing and recording you during classes, online sessions, graduation ceremonies, and other program events. WMTC may use these images and recordings for educational, marketing, and promotional purposes as described in our Privacy Policy (Section 6).

You may opt out of marketing use of your likeness at any time by written request to [email protected]. Opting out does not affect your enrollment or access to services.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the WMTC website and student portal — including text, images, videos, course materials, logos, and software — is the property of WMTC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  • You may access and use content solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from WMTC content without prior written permission.
  • Course materials provided to enrolled students are licensed for personal study only and may not be shared, resold, or published.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems, other users' accounts, or any connected networks.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information during enrollment or in any communication with WMTC.
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other students, staff, or any third party through our Services.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our website or portal.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from our Services.

Violations may result in immediate termination of portal access and enrollment, and may be referred to law enforcement.

10. Third-Party Services

Our Services integrate with third-party platforms including Microsoft Teams (online classroom), Stripe (payments), and others. Your use of these platforms is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. WMTC is not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

11. Disclaimers

Our Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. WMTC does not warrant that:

  • The website or portal will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
  • Completion of a WMTC program guarantees employment, certification exam passage, or any specific career outcome.
  • Externship placement is guaranteed for any student.

WMTC makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate program information but reserves the right to modify program schedules, instructors, and curriculum as needed.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, WMTC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services or enrollment in our programs. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the tuition amount paid by you for the program at issue.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WMTC, Equip Human Solutions, and their affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of our Services, or your enrollment in a WMTC program.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Before initiating legal action, you agree to contact WMTC in writing at [email protected] and allow 30 days for us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

15. BPPE Disclosure

Western Medical Training Center is approved to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). Any questions a student may have regarding this institution that have not been satisfactorily answered by the institution may be directed to:

16. Changes to These Terms

WMTC may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. For material changes, enrolled students will be notified by email. Your continued use of our Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
